2. Nature of Our Products — No Physical Shipping

2.1 We Are Amsterdam B.V. sells exclusively digital products: museum tickets, guided tour bookings, skip-the-line passes, combination packages, and related experiences in Amsterdam. No physical goods are sold or dispatched through this Website.

2.2 All Products are delivered electronically in the form of a digital Voucher or booking confirmation, sent to the email address provided by the Customer at the time of purchase.

2.3 There are no shipping costs associated with any purchase made on amsluxurytours.com. The total price displayed at checkout is the final amount payable — no delivery surcharges will be added.

3. Digital Delivery of Vouchers

3.1 Delivery Method

Upon successful payment, the Customer will receive a Booking Confirmation email containing their digital Voucher (e-ticket). This email is sent to the address provided during checkout.

3.2 Delivery Timeframe

  • Most vouchers are delivered within 30 minutes. In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 24 hours.

If you have not received your Voucher within 24 hours of payment, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us at info@amsluxurytours.com.

3.3 Format

Vouchers are provided in one or more of the following formats:

  • PDF attachment (printable and mobile-friendly);
  • QR code embedded in the confirmation email;
  • Direct link to a mobile-accessible booking page.

3.4 Presentation at Venue

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, Vouchers may be presented either:

  • On a smartphone or tablet screen (digital presentation); or
  • As a printed copy on paper.

Some venues require a specific format. Where such requirements exist, they are clearly stated on the product page before purchase.

3.5 Validity

Each Voucher is valid only for the specific date, time slot, and number of persons stated in the Booking Confirmation. Entry outside the specified parameters is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the venue.

3.6 Responsibility for Delivery

The Company is not liable for non-receipt of Vouchers resulting from:

  • An incorrect email address provided by the Customer;
  • Emails blocked or filtered by the Customer's email provider or spam filter;
  • Full email inbox on the Customer's side.

In such cases, the Customer should contact us at info@amsluxurytours.com with their full name and order details, and we will reissue the Voucher.

4. Pricing

4.1 All prices on amsluxurytours.com are displayed in Euros (EUR).

4.2 All prices include Dutch VAT (BTW) at the applicable rate, in compliance with EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC. The VAT amount is itemised separately at checkout and on the invoice.

4.3 Our prices consist of two components:

  • Base ticket price: the cost of the ticket or tour as supplied by the venue or tour operator;
  • Service Fee: a fee charged by We Are Amsterdam B.V. for booking facilitation, platform operation, customer support, and convenience services.

Both components are transparently displayed before payment is submitted. The Customer will always see the total price — including all fees and taxes — before confirming a purchase.

4.4 Prices may vary between Products and may change over time due to Supplier pricing updates, seasonal demand, or promotional campaigns. The price confirmed at the time of Booking is the price the Customer pays, regardless of subsequent changes.

4.5 We Are Amsterdam B.V. makes no representation that prices on this Website are equal to or lower than prices available directly from the Supplier. Customers may be able to purchase some products at a lower price directly from the museum or venue.

5.4 Available payment methods at checkout may vary depending on your country of residence, device, and browser.

6. Payment Security

6.1 All payment transactions on amsluxurytours.com are processed by PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment service providers. We Are Amsterdam B.V. does not store, process, or transmit full card numbers on its own servers.

6.2 All data transmitted during the checkout process is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS / HTTPS).

6.3 Where required by your card issuer or bank, you may be asked to complete Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) under EU Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2 — Directive 2015/2366/EU). This may include two-factor authentication (e.g. a one-time passcode sent to your phone or biometric confirmation via your banking app).

6.4 We Are Amsterdam B.V. is not responsible for delays or failures in payment processing caused by your bank, card issuer, or device, provided that such issues do not arise from our own systems.

7. Payment Processing and Timing

7.1 Payment is taken at the time of Booking, immediately upon submission of the order. No payment is taken before the Customer confirms the final order at checkout.

7.2 The Customer's bank statement will show a charge from We Are Amsterdam B.V. or the trading name amsluxurytours.com. If you are uncertain about a charge, please contact us at info@amsluxurytours.com before filing a dispute with your bank.

7.3 In the event that a payment is authorised but the Booking cannot be fulfilled (e.g. due to sudden venue unavailability), the Customer will receive a full refund within 5 Business Days to the original payment method.

7.4 Currency and Exchange Rates

All transactions are processed in Euros (EUR). If the Customer's bank account or card is denominated in a different currency, conversion will be performed by the Customer's bank or card issuer at their applicable exchange rate. We Are Amsterdam B.V. has no control over, and accepts no liability for, any currency conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations applied by the Customer's financial institution.

8. Invoices and Receipts

8.1 A payment receipt is automatically included in the Booking Confirmation email sent upon successful purchase.

8.2 Customers requiring a formal VAT invoice for business purposes may request one by emailing info@amsluxurytours.com with:

  • Full company name and address;
  • VAT / BTW number (if applicable);
  • Booking reference number.

VAT invoices will be issued within 5 Business Days of the request.

8.3 All invoices issued by We Are Amsterdam B.V. comply with Dutch invoicing requirements under the Wet op de omzetbelasting 1968 and EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC.

9. Failed Payments and Declined Transactions

9.1 If your payment is declined, no charge will be applied to your account and no Booking will be confirmed. You will be notified at checkout and may attempt payment again using an alternative method.

9.2 Common reasons for payment failure include: insufficient funds, card issuer restrictions on online or international transactions, incorrect card details entered, or SCA verification not completed. Please contact your bank if the issue persists.

9.3 If a payment is reversed or charged back after a Voucher has already been issued and used, We Are Amsterdam B.V. reserves the right to seek recovery of the amount owed and may report fraudulent chargebacks to relevant authorities.

10. Refunds

10.1 Refund eligibility is governed by the cancellation terms applicable to each Product, which are clearly stated on the product page before purchase, and by the Terms and Conditions available at amsluxurytours.com/terms-and-conditions.

10.2 Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 calendar days of the cancellation or refund confirmation, to the original payment method used.

10.3 Refunds are issued in Euros (EUR). We Are Amsterdam B.V. is not responsible for any currency conversion differences that may arise between the original payment and the refund, due to exchange rate fluctuations.

10.4 Service Fees are non-refundable in cases of Customer-initiated cancellations, unless otherwise stated on the product page or required by applicable law.

10.5 In the event of a Supplier cancellation or Force Majeure event, a full refund of the total amount paid — including the Service Fee — will be issued.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

11.1 If you believe an unauthorised charge has been made to your account, please contact us immediately at info@amsluxurytours.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. In most cases, we can resolve payment disputes faster than the formal chargeback process.

11.2 Filing a chargeback for a legitimate transaction — where a Voucher was delivered and used — may result in the suspension of your account and possible legal action to recover the disputed amount.

12. Applicable Law

This Shipping & Payment Information page forms part of the contractual relationship between the Customer and We Are Amsterdam B.V. and is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. In the event of any conflict between this page and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

EU consumer protection rights, including those under Directive 2011/83/EU and Regulation (EU) 2017/2394, are not affected by any provision of this page.
